C25k

I ran my first day in the first week of c25k. it was hard, i screwed up the pace in the beginning with my first run, I had to walk longer with the first resting walk.

But the next couple of jogs were okay. Good news is tim didn't recognize me running when he was driving by. I don't want people to know who I am.

The first song today was the "theme from shaft" by Isaac Hayes. Umm. That was fun to warm up to. I felt like a bad ass and a silly fool. It made me giggle. The music was a combo of Isaac Hayes, The Minutemen and Jack Johnson. It was an eclectic mix. I very much appreciated the minutemen. They were brilliant. The music moves me, and maybe that's why I ran too fast the first time. Jack Johnson makes me feel like the 30 something that I am.
I think this can work.

When I got home there were beautiful daffodils blooming in my yard.

Spring is here. I think.
